STEAM POWER ON THE WEST SOMERSET
87minutes - 4:3 - PAL - £14.99

Steam Power on the West Somerset features a selection of sixteen
locomotives which have worked on the line in recent times, including
both resident engines and steam gala visitors from other railways
around the country. The steam engines are seen at work trackside
amongst the attractive scenery on the twenty mile run from Bishops
Lydeard, near Taunton, though the Quantock Hills to the coast at
Minehead.
All ten of the beautifully restored stations along the West Somerset
are also visited, along with the sheds at Williton and Minehead, and
the Gauge Museum at Bishops Lydeard. Time is also taken to enjoy the
varied flora and fauna to be found along the way. The commentary is
kept brief so that you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the steam
locomotives at work, and on-screen captions identify the engine and
location.
